Lacey Heilman received the Jeanne Daniels best senior girl award, and Chad Wilmott won the Carl Searcy best senior boy scholarship.

Heilman has been a member of the volleyball and track teams for four years.

She also is president of National Honor Society, vice president of Letterwomen's Club and secretary for the student council.In addition, Heilman has participated in Science Club and PALs (Peer-Assisted Learning).

She said receiving the Jeanne Daniels scholarship was a surprise because she doesn't consider herself "the most athletic person ever to grace the planet."

"I was very surprised and very honored," Heilman said."It was really humbling because there are so many phenomenal athletes at the school."

Emily Green, Lacey Heilman and Janelle Klein were members of the 4x100 relay team that placed sixth at state.
