Heieck is one of an increasing number of Sacramentans who believes our daily commutes are having a huge impact on our daily lives,to the point that they are determining our destiny.

"Where people live, what kinds of jobs they are able to consider, where we send our children to school,it's all determined by how much driving we're willing to do, says Heieck.

It's "dinner at the dump," says association Executive Director Becky Heieck.The idea, she says, is to put a "positive spin" on what some perceive as a Power Inn negative.
