WASHINGTON- Potomac Hospitality Services has appointed Janine Heath to serve as vp/operations for the company, which owns and operates more than 4,000 hotel rooms throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

Heath has worked for 33 years in hotel management and 13 years as a general manager.

In her new position she is responsible for overseeing the company's 11 properties, as well as directing the operations and brand management for Potomac Hospitality Services.

In previous experience, Heath served for two years as the GM of The River Inn, a boutique hotel in Washington owned and operated by Potomac Hospitality Services.She has also worked at the Henley Park Hotel and Morrison-Clark Inn here; the Hotel Escalante in Naples, FL; and at Noble House Hotels and Resorts.
