Jane Heath gave her first horse massage 28 years ago at age 12.She's been giving horses massage therapy ever since, beginning her professional career in 1995.She began her formal massage training with the intention of eventually working on just animals; however, she also works on people, especially horseback riders.She continues to explore the relationship between soft tissue tension and restriction in horses and their riders.

Training received in Colorado, Arizona and Montana includes Myofascial Release, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and a variety of other forms.She is also trained in Traditional Chinese Massage, a practice is which is readily applied to, and much appreciated by, horses and people.She is a Reiki Master and constantly continues her training in the healing arts.

Combining her diverse massage background into a system of therapy for horses which increases flexibility and performance, while speeding the healing process is Jane's goal.This type of work addresses not only the physical body, but also the emotional and mental aspects of the horse.Her approach to massage is to help the horse release soft tissue restrictions, a response which comes naturally to all animals.Jane uses only kind, gentle methods which help the horse achieve the state of deep relaxation necessary for lasting muscle release and consequent healing.

Jane does on-site massage throughout Montana and surrounding states as well as extended therapy at her facility near Helena, Montana.

Like the name of her business, Circle of Life Equine Therapy, Jane's life with horses has come full circle since that first massage at age 12.She has owned and ridden horses since then and today happily lives with her husband, four horses, two dogs and three cats.In 1983, she graduated from Gonzaga University with a BA in Journalism with an emphasis in environmental science.She worked for four years in newspaper and broadcast journalism, then worked for the State Superfund Hazardous Waste Cleanup Program for eight years.
