Prior to joining SVA in 2006, Alex ran her own company providing business and strategic consulting services to small and medium enterprises and community organizations.Previously, she was the General Manager of Bates Smart, a national design practice; a role which leveraged her 12 years of practice as an architect.Alex has a keen interest in sustainability, community development and the development of women in the corporate and community sector and has served on both for profit and non-profit boards.Alex holds a Bachelor of Architecture from University of South Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Environmental Studies from the University of Adelaide and a Graduate Diploma in Business (Management) from RMIT.
