Joanne Haworth

• Joanne Haworth, a member of the newly chartered Ad Astra Chapter of the American Business Women's Association, has been elected Chapter Woman of the Year.Haworth received the chapter's nomination as a Top 10 candidate at the national level.

An ABWA member since 1995, Haworth most recently served as the first president of Ad Astra Chapter.She was 2000-01 president of ABWA Kan-Kan Chapter and chairwoman of numerous committees.She has also served as Inter-council representative.Through ABWA, Haworth received a Stephen Bufton Grant from ABWA's national scholarship fund to complete her master's degree in management from Baker University in 1999.She is employed at Topeka Performing Arts Center as finance director.
