    RDB partner Jason Hartley is quoted in a National Law Journal article on November 19, 2007.The article, "Airlines Hit by Antitrust Actions," discusses RDB's lawsuits and the federal government's two-year investigation into whether some major airlines set up illegal cartels that imposed fuel surcharges on passengers and air freight purchasers that were not related to actual fuel costs.

    Mr. Hartley is representing plaintiffs in eight class action suits brought on behalf of thousands of passengers who say the airlines violated federal and state antitrust laws by raising ticket prices to cover the false fuel surcharges.He said, "our allegation is they set prices to artificially manipulate the market and cheat consumers.
