Terri Hart became a member of the ApHC just seven years ago.She now owns nine Appaloosas, competes at shows across the country and participates in multiple regional clubs and on multiple boards of directors.
Terri Hart, a small business owner from PiƱon Hills, California, accidentally got into the Appaloosa industry in 1999 and has never looked back.
"I really had no idea that I'd be showing Appys," Terri says.
...
A good friend of Terri's purchased Dream Spinner, by Prince Colony (JC) and out of Going South, with the intention of racing the filly because her sire was by the Kentucky Derby winner Pleasant Colony (JC) and her dam was Going South, a mare with Ocala Flight and Deep South bloodlines.
Terri's friend fell on hard times and gave Terri "Dream" in late 1998 as repayment of a debt.Terri had always liked the filly with Thoroughbred looks and spots over her hips. She accepted the mare, joined the ApHC and started receiving her monthly issues of Appaloosa Journal.
