When Taylor Hart, a financial advisor with Raymond James Financial Advisors, heard about Fischl's battle with cancer he stepped in the help.

The 32-year-old Naples resident is a cancer survivor who is offering Fischl free financial advice as well as donating prizes for the fishing tournament.

"I am a cancer survivor and I want to reach out to people who are going through difficult times, because I feel they can understand me and I can understand them," Hart said.

Hart said he admires Fischl's lifestyle choice.

"He's living his dream," Hart said."He gave up the corporate trappings to do what he really wanted to do.Most people would never dream of doing that because of their fears."

Now Hart is helping Fischl with other fears: the fears of cancer.

"Another major focus for me in seeking out people like Ed is the overwhelming fear in the post cancer struggle," Hart said.
