Hart, a native of Columbia, brings more than five years of health care and consumer experience to Woodruff Sweitzer.

Most recently, Hart was with Fleishman-Hillard, Inc. in Kansas City, Mo., and served as Senior Account Executive primarily on Genentech and Houlihan's account teams.

Prior to joining Flieshman-Hillard, Hart spent two years at Scripps Health in San Diego in Marketing Communications.In her role as Marketing Coordinator, she managed physician relations, internal communications, and special events including The Tour of Hope and sponsorship of the Buick Invitational PGA tournament.

Hart, who will be based in Kansas City and will serve local, regional and national clients for the agency, holds a bachelor of science degree in Journalism, Public Relations from Baylor University.

Tara Hart began her career in healthcare at Scripps Health in 2002 after moving to San Diego from the east coast.As a marketing specialist for Scripps Clinic and Scripps Green Hospital, Tara has helped reinvigorate the Scripps Clinic brand in the market place by executing strategic marketing communications plans incorporating collateral development, internal communications, media relations and physician relations.A skilled comunity relations professional, Tara was instrumental in the multi-award winning kick-off event at Scripps Green Hospital for the 2005 Tour of Hope- a national cancer research awareness campaign featuring seven-time Tour De France winner Lance Armstrong.

In addition to her busy professional life, Tara is a mentor for a marathon training team with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training and is the president of the Kappa Delta Alumnae Association.Tara earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism, Public Relations from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
