Roy Hart, FACHE, MBA is currently VP, Business Development & Sales for MedRemote. Roy brings over 20 years experience from a diverse healthcare and technology background. Roy has held executive and technical positions with VHA Inc., Cerner, and EDS He has held hospital administrative positions for both civilian as well as USAF military hospitals. Roy is a Fellow, American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), Professional, Academy for Healthcare Management (PAHM), and a member of HIMSS.

Elaine Parrish ’sbackground combines broad expertise in sales, marketing, and operations management. She has built and successfully run a wide spectrum of businesses. Elaine is especially known for her leadership and for turning around challenging or underperforming operations. Elaine creates productive and successful business partnerships. She has held senior executive positions with major multinational corporations Elaine holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Public Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.

John Arena, CPA is the sole proprietor of John M. Arena, CPA, a financial services practice that provides a wide range of services to both start up and established entities in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. With almost eighteen years of professional experience, John has held Vice President and Controller positions in the telecommunications and health care fields where he supervised the accounting & tax, financial planning, treasury, payroll and human resources functions. He graduated in 1986 from the University of Maryland with a BS degree in Accounting, and has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1989.

Roy who brings over 20 years experience in healthcare and technology, will be responsible for, institutional and OEM sales, identifying new applications of MedRemote's solutions, new product development, and identifying business partnerships for joint marketing and/or development of new solutions that are synergistic to MedRemote's existing product suite.

PHNS BECOMES IT OUTSOURCING BUSINESS PARTNER OF VHA SOUTHWEST

Dallas, Texas; April 26, 2001 - Provider HealthNet Services Inc. (PHNS) and VHA Southwest, Inc., an Addison, TX based network of leading community-owned health care organizations and physicians, announced today a partnership to provide information technology (IT) and business process (BP) outsourcing services to VHA Southwest's 87 shareholder, partner and affiliate hospitals in Texas and New Mexico.

"We wanted to give our Members a strong option for IT outsourcing.

"It's a very time consuming process to find an advance directive that was previously filed," said Roy Hart, FACHE, vice president of information technology at VHA Southwest. "Some hospitals convert their records to electronic media or microfiche, making it even more difficult to retrieve a copy of the document," he continued.
