    Roy has been with the BMAA since 1994 and runs the membership office with particular responsibility for looking after the BMAA Examiners, Instructors and checking licence applications.This involves liaison with Instructors and Examiners and making sure they have up to date information covering all aspects of licence requirements and exam papers.Roy also deals with the many companies who provide services to the BMAA.

    Roy spent most of his working life with British Telecom retiring as a manager and then spent two years behind the bar in the Deddington Arms before joining the BMAA.He claims there is no truth at all in the rumour that all BMAA recruiting is done in the village pub.Although not a pilot himself Roy is very knowledgeable on microlighting matters and will always take the time to explain to enquirers what a great sport it is.

    As well as taking a keen interest in aviation, Roy is a keen golfer and Chelsea Football Club supporter.

    Roy is married to Karen, and lives in the village of Deddington, just a stone's throw from the office.
