RONALD A. HART, ESQ.
Ronald A. Hart attended the Maine School of Commerce, and received his J.D. from the University of Maine in 1958.He established his practice in Bath that year.From 1959 to 1963, he served as an associate judge of the Bath Municipal Court.In 1964, he was elected District Attorney for Sagadahoc County, a position he held until 1968.He was elected Sagadahoc County Probate Judge in 1969, serving in that position until 1992.He was Chief Judge of the Maine Assembly of Probate Judges in 1978.
Included among his many professional memberships are the American Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Maine State Bar Association (Board of Governors, 1977–1981), Maine Trial Lawyers Association (Board of Governors, 1974–1980), Maine Judicial Council (1972–1980), and the Sagadahoc County Bar Association (President, 1982–1984).Mr. Hart authored an article on industrial hearing loss in 1983, and served as a member of the Maine Probate Revision Commission on the Maine Rules of Probate and Procedure from 1973 to 1980.
Mr. Hart has also been continuously listed in Marquis' Who's Who in American Law since the inception of the publication.
