    Paul was born May 24, 1919, in Detroit, Mich., to Willard and Violette Hart.

    In December of 1941, Paul enlisted in the U. S. Air Force and was in the South Pacific during World War II.He was honorably discharged in 1945 and moved back to farm in Cozad.

    On March 8, 1946, Paul was united in marriage to Arlene Vasey of Cozad.

    Along with his love for his family and for farming, Paul loved aviation.He shared this love with family and friends through conversation and by taking them on rides in his own small plane, a Piper Tri-Pacer.At the age of 75, Paul began the long process of building a RV 4 airplane.He spent many hours working on this plane, including the day before his death.

    Paul will be missed by his wife, Arlene of Sargent; two daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Frank Crespin of Denver, Colo., and Lori and Herb Hall of Thedford; a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Vicky of Sargent; seven grandchildren, Kelly Crespin and Pat Crespin and wife Connie, all of Denver, Allan Hall and wife Marisella of Albuquerque, N.M., Josh Hall of Halsey, and Alex, Jenny and Emma Hart of Sargent; three great-grandchildren, Kody and Kameron Crespin and Michelle Hall; a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Ben Polay of Hemet, Calif.; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Linda Hart of Sterling, Colo.; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Bill and Mary Jane Vasey of Cozad and Bob and Skip Vasey of Sylvia, Kan.; a sister-in-law and her husband, Patricia and Al Henderson of Boise, Idaho; a brother-in-law, Ernie Green of Boise, Idaho; a very special companion, his dog, Gunther; and many other family members and friends.
