Nottingham Forest have sacked manager Paul Hart after the 1-0 home defeat against Coventry.
Forest lie in the bottom three of Nationwide League Division One after failing to register a win in 14 league matches.
Hart steered Forest to last season's play-off semi-finals where they narrowly lost out to Sheffield United.
Hart admitted he was under pressure following the defeat by Coventry.
He said at the after-match press conference: "I suppose you could say I'm coming under pressure now.
"But I don't think about that; I let other people worry about those things.
"People have said I'm one-dimensional.But over the last few months I think I've tried every formation I know of - and if those critics had been watching us since October, they'd see the formations we've played have been many and varied."
Hart had criticised his players following the match, claiming: "It's a disappointing result after a very poor performance.

We feel we have given Paul every chance to try and turn things around but, for one reason or another, the improvement we have all been desperate to see has not been forthcoming.
"We have 17 League games remaining this season and it is imperative that we do everything possible to improve results and stabilise our League position.
"We will be looking to appoint a manager as soon as possible in order to move the club in a forward direction once more."
Hart had been in charge for two and a half seasons after taking over as manager from David Platt. Before that he had worked for four years as academy director with the club.
