Joe trained at Coleraine University and Greenmount College in Northern Ireland and now heads our team of 10 fully trained horticultural staff. He started with the company 20 years ago as a general nursery worker when they were known as Foxhall & Gyle. Then in 1984 Conifox Nurseries was formed and set up as a container unit on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Five years ago Joe started a major expansion in the nursery which included a new growing area to accommodate up to a half a million shrubs, conifers and trees.
