Westminster started well, taking a 14-6 lead, but the customary good scoring from Joe Hart brought his team back into the game as he hit two three-pointers to get the deficit down to 24-18 midway through the second quarter.

Southend made a good start, taking a 13-4 lead in the opening five minutes with Thulani Sibanda and Joe Hart sharing the points and a Hart three-pointer took it to 19-7.

Fire scored again but Hart avoided the close attention of his markers to score again and with 30 seconds remaining it was still a 2 point game.Hart rebounded a missed shot and was again fouled which gave him two penalty shots with 20 seconds remaining.But the 13 year old, who has been outstanding in his clubs first season at this age level, was unable to convert the chances and Brentwood were able to retain possession to end up victors in a very exciting contest by 68 points to 66.Hart 32 and Sibanda 14 leading the scorers in yet another tough defeat for the Swifts youngsters.
