Christine Hart earned her Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, where she graduated with highest honors.She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York.
Christine began her career at New York University Medical Center as a Clinical Nutritionist in 1972.In 1978 she became a Senior Nutritionist at NYU's Cooperative Care Program.The Cooperative Care Program was the first of its kind in the nation to pioneer partnerships between patients, families and clinicians to improve patient outcomes after they leave the clinical hospital setting.
In the early 1980's she was a Senior Nutritionist at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City where she provided therapeutic diet education to patients with diabetes and kidney disease.
She was Director of the Title VII Senior Nutrition program in Westchester County, where she formulated menus to meet federal guidelines for senior citizen health care.
In 1983 she went into private practice as the director of Nutrition Consultant Services in New York City.She has been a lecturer in employee nutrition programs at several Fortune 500 companies and she is a frequent contributor to radio, television, and print media.She currently has a weekly radio show on WBTN, Nutrition Views, for Southern Vermont College in Bennington, VT.
