Adam D. Hart

Sergeant Adam D. Hart, Assoc. AIA, was the recent recipient of a Purple Heart for wounds he received in Iraq.The Purple Heart is awarded to members of the armed forces of the United States who are wounded by an instrument of war in the hands of the enemy.Sergeant Hart is a non-commissioned officer with the 1-156th Armor Battalion of the Louisiana National Guard.He was a 2002 cum laude graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Baccalaureate in Architecture and is associated with Morgan Hill Sutton & Mitchell/Architects LLC in Shreveport.

Sergeant Hart Remains on military leave in Shreveport and is in rehab.The AIA LA staff and membership are so proud of Adam and wish him a speedy recovery.We also wish to thank him for the personal and career sacrifices that he has made for our freedom.
