1972 - Pianist in the duo Harrington Wadsworth Foxweave with guitarist / singer Mark Ostrovsky in Cleveland, Ohio
1973-1975 - Pianist in avant-garde jazz group Centre with saxophonist Vinnie Golia in Los Angeles
 1976-77 - pianist in world music group Jasmine East-West Fusion Ensemble with multi-reedist Vinnie Golia and guitarist George Landress in Los Angeles
1977-78 - Pianist in jazz group African Roots of Jazz with drummer E.W. Wainwright in Los Angeles
1978 - Post-graduate work at UCLA in music composition and film scoring.
