Jessica began her studies at the age of 10 with the Jacqueline Colledge School of Classical Ballet in American Fork, Utah.She joined Ballet West in 1994 as an aspirant.She was promoted to artist in 1995, to soloist in 1998, and to principal artist in 1999.

Jessica has also been featured in principal roles in the pas de deux from Don Quixote, Hans van Manen's Polish Pieces, and George Balanchine's Stravinsky Violin Concerto.Jessica has most recently performed as Bianca in John Cranko's The Taming of the Shrew, Titania in Balanchine's A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Rosalinda in Ronald Hynd's Rosalinda, as well as in Jerome Robbins' Afternoon of a Faun, Balanchine's Theme and Variations, William Forsythe's In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated, and Hans van Manen's Black Cake.
