In the meantime a distinguished panel of judges had been assembled, all of whom had had some previous involvement with NWP, but representing a range of viewpoints on new writing: writers Olwen Wymark and Peter Flannery, BBC Producer Melanie Harris and Bill Hopkinson, Literary Manager of Sgrypt Cymru, were joined by Tony Green (representing the Board of NWP), and Suzanne Bell and Sue Reddish (representing producing theatres in the region).
