Kerryn Harper - House Beautiful EditorKerryn Harper is passionate about homes and interiors and a self confessed 'serial decorator'.She says being Editor of a reknowned home authority such as House Beautiful magazine is her dream job.After completing a one year Postgraduate Diploma in Magazine Journalism at the prestigious Cardiff University centre of Journalism, she started her career 10 years ago at Perfect Home magazine, quickly progressing from Editorial Assistant to Homes Editor to Assistant Editor.She was approached to become Associate Editor on Your Home magazine in January 1999.During her four and half years on that title, she stepped up to become Acting Editor on two occasions to cover the Editor's maternity leave, editing for a total of 15 months.In July 2003 she was appointed Editor of House Beautiful to initiate the magazine's own 'makeover' with a complete relaunch just 9 weeks later. Kerryn has also authored a 236pg glossy decorating 'bible' titled 'Home - a practical Style Guide'.She took part as a guest designer on a one-off 'Changing Rooms" style makeover programme for Carlton TV.She has also appears on both TV and radio commenting on decorating and more campaigning home issues.
