Celia leads the education ministry for children and adults.She is excited that NECC offers a variety of small group programs for all ages and interests to build a community committed to following Christ.Celia recently left corporate life as a Human Resources specialist and has a B.S. from the University of Missouri; an M.S. from Texas Tech University; and her Ph.D. is from the University of Kentucky.

Get to know Director of Community Life, Celia Harmon a little better ...

Background: Celia is joining Northeast Community Church to lead the education ministry for children and adults.She is excited that NECC will offer a variety of small group programs for all ages and interests to build a community committed to following Christ.Celia recently left corporate life as a Human Resources specialist and has a B.S. from the University of Missouri; an M.S. from Texas Tech University; and her Ph.D. is from the University of Kentucky - all good basketball schools so it is only natural that God would bring her to Connecticut eventually!

City of Birth: Clinton, Missouri

Current Residence: Norwalk, Connecticut

Family: Celia is single and starting a Singles group for Northeast to create a church family for those interested.Celia's two cats do claim her as Mom!Her parents, grandmother, brother and nieces still live in Clinton, MO.
