Aaron Harman

Aaron Harman '07 of Natick, Mass., was honored at the 137th Commencement at UMass Amherst as a 21st Century Leader May 26th.

Harman spent two weeks participating in the School of Nursing's Ghana Health Mission and has been a campus emergency medical technician. In the summer of 2003 he was a research assistant in the U.S. Army Food Science Laboratory in Natick; he later made a presentation on the work he did there at an annual meeting of the Institute of Food Technology.

Harman played saxophone in the Minuteman Marching Band and the UMass Jazz Band. He will attend the UMass Medical School this summer and plans to pursue a career in space medicine.
