Andrew Hansford

ANDREW HANSFORD is principally a pianist (specialising in accompaniment) as well as an organist and harpsichordist.His extensive performance work has taken him all over the country with many choirs, choral societies and orchestras.

Andrew is an examiner for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and for GCE and A/S level Music, as well as Mentor with the ABRSM and at the Bristol Centre; and has undertaken adjudication work both in the UK and overseas.

Previous posts include pianist at the Royal Ballet School, tutor at Morley College and Cheltenham College.Andrew now teaches classical and jazz piano at Cirencester College and since 2001 has been a lecturer at the University of Bath.He is organist at his local church.

Andrew studied Composition under Professor Sebastian Forbes and a selective list of his compositions and performances is available on request.
