Alan Hansford joined D2Audio in November of 2004, bringing with him 21 years of experience in high technology management, marketing and executive positions focusing on consumer and PC markets.Mr. Hansford comes to D2Audio having recently worked with a number of startup companies, drawing on his experience with fast moving teams.Hansford previously served as Vice President and General Manager of SigmaTel's Integrated Components Group business unit from 2001 to 2004 with responsibly for marketing, applications, design engineering, and software development functions.Prior to taking the GM role, Mr. Hansford served two years as Vice President of Marketing and had product management responsibility for all products including the successful MP3 devices, as well as the single-chip DSL processor.Prior to joining SigmaTel as Director of Marketing, he served as Director of Marketing on the recovery team for Ross Technology, a SPARC CPU/Processor manufacturer.Mr. Hansford held various product marketing positions over a 6 year period for Comlinear and several product line management positions within Crystal Semiconductor/Cirrus Logic over a 4 year period.He began his career spending 2 years at both Harris Semi and Analog Devices in applications and marketing roles.
