Alfred Hanmer, MDDr. Hanmer is a graduate of Springfield College and Tufts University School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.He completed his residency at Baystate Medical Center and Tufts New England Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident.He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.Dr. Hanmer is a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine.He is FDA certified to perform the Birmingham Hip Resurfacing procedure.
