Mr. Alexander Hanlin

Mr. Hanlin was one of the oldest direct descendants with the Hanlin surname of Alexander Hanlin, who immigrated to the USA from Northern Ireland in 1792.

Mr. Hanlin was a sixty-six year member of the Paris Presbyterian Church, where he served as Elder, Trustee, Deacon, Sunday School Librarian, Usher, Co-Chairman of the Men's Breakfast for twenty-four years and a member and Past-President of the Faithful Servants Class.He was a Director and Past-President of the Board of Directors of the Chestnut Ridge Cemetery Board and a member of the Weirton A.A.R.P He was a fifty-five member of the Richard Vaux Lodge #454 F and AM and a member of the Acient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Pittsburgh.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 11:00am at the Paris Presbyterian Church with Rev. Christina Hosler officiating.Lunch will be served in the Church Social Hall following the Memorial.

Interment was at the Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Paris, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mr. Hanlin's name be sent to the Paris Presbyterian Church, 127 Steubenville Pike, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
