  Dr Hancock is one of the founding Directors of MicroOncology Ltd and has pioneered the products being developed by MicroOncology, and began developing the underlying ideas related to the MicroBlate treatment/measurement platform technology in December 2001.He is a highly experienced microwave research and development engineer.He has a PhD in electronic instrumentation engineering, and an MSc in communication engineering.
  
  Chris has 15 published patents and 9 patent applications to his name, all of which are based on electrosurgical devices and equipment using microwave energy.He was given an Honorary Research Fellowship at University College London based on his work on the cancer treatment system, and became a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical Engineers in September 2005.

  Chris Hancock, founder and long-time bass singer for Mended Wings, announced his resignation from the ministry effective May 3, 2003.We will miss him terribly, but we will continue to do what God has called us to do... declaring His love, grace, and power through music and drama.
  
  Mended Wings will be continuing as a trio from this point.After much consideration and prayer, Mended Wings Ministries felt the best and most responsible decision was to not pursue another bass singer.Chris truly was irreplaceable.
