Charlie Hancock leads AcceLight Network's sales support team.He is responsible for all sales support activities including sales systems engineering and customer lab and field trials and works closely with the CSO/PSO in providing total customer support and satisfaction.
Charlie is a true entrepreneur with the start-up savvy and the technical expertise that are critical elements for success in today's fast paced telecommunications markets.With Charlie's more than more than 22 years of telecom experience, AcceLight's customers benefit from his extensive management experience with sales engineering teams, professional services teams and third party partners, implementing and supporting large complex telecommunications networks.He is equally at home dealing with communication technologies such as ATM, IP, SONET, DWDM and Ethernet technologies for Core, Metro, LAN and WAN applications.Charlie also has a wealth of contacts within the North American and global carrier/service provider community.
Prior to joining AcceLight, Charlie was with Sycamore Networks where, as part of the National Account Management team, he was responsible for the technical qualification of new opportunities, and overall technical account management, including network design using Sycamore's SONET, DWDM, OSPF and MPLS optical switching products and solutions.Charlie has also held technical management positions with Marconi Communications and Hughes LAN Systems.
Charlie holds a BSEE from Control Data Institute.
