George L. Hanbury II

George L. Hanbury II ( M.P.A. 77 ) Ð Hanbury lives in Fort Lauderdale , Fla. , where he has served as city manager since 1990.A former assistant city manager and later city manager of Virginia Beach ( 1970-1982 ) and former city manager of Portsmouth ( 1982-1990 ) , Hanbury was one of the creative forces behind Virginia Beach's Neptune Festival.He is currently a doctoral candidate at Florida Atlantic University.
