CMAA maintains a Certification Maintenance Requirement to ensure that managers continue to develop professionally.Once a manager attains the CCM designation they have five years to fulfill specified certification credits for recertification of their designation.

William D. Hamric, CCM General Manager Bill comes to Royal Palm Yacht Club with an impressive career and posses some 27 years of club management experience, having served at the helm of some of the finest private clubs and resorts in the Southeast.Bill is a Certified Club Manager (CCM) since 1993, receiving his first re-certification in 2000 and most recently in January, 2005.He has served as Education Chairman as well as Secretary and is a past President of the Tennessee Chapter of The Club Manager's Association of America.Bill has extensive experience in Clubhouse renovations and additions, as well as new construction, membership promotions, planning of banquets, special events, catering, casual and fine dining.Bill enjoys providing excellent food, amenities and services for the membership and in assuring that expectations are being met or exceeded.He especially enjoys working closely with the staff in an effort to achieve these results.Bill began his career in private Clubs while attending college and serving as Maitre'd /Night Manager for a privately owned Club, managed by Club Corporation of America (Club Corp).It was here that Bill got his first taste of professional Club Management and the fine dining experience.He has never looked back as he changed his career from Music Education to that of the Private Club field.Since that time, Bill served 10 years as Clubhouse Manager of the Gadsden Country Club, Gadsden Alabama, 6 years as GM of The Huntsville Country Club, Huntsville, AL, then on to Tennessee where he served an additional 8 years as GM of the Cleveland Country Club, an additional year as GM at the Country Club at Stones River, Murfreesboro, TN and has most recently finished his contractual obligations with The Centre Hills Country Club, State College, Pennsylvania.Bill met Elena, his wife of 27 years, while attending Jacksonville State University.Bill and Elena have two boys.Lee, 21 and Steve, 19.Both auditioned for and were awarded music scholarships and are currently attending Jacksonville State University in Alabama.

William D. Hamric, CCM, has been hired as the new general manager to the Cleveland Country Club, Cleveland, TN.Hamric comes to Cleveland from the Huntsville Country Club, Huntsville, AL, where he served as general manager for five years.
