Sue was instrumental in upgrading and instructing the Softball Calgary scorekeeper Clinics.One of the major jobs of the 1997 Junior Women's Canadian Championships, undertaken by Sue, was the coordination of the game scorers and compiling the statistics.A dedicated officer who has enjoyed the sport of softball Sue enjoys golfing, curling and her job as Executive Director at ASWRAB.

The Sparetime Modified Softball League has nominated their long time President, Sue Hammond, as their Merit Award recipient.After thirteen years on the Sparetime executive, seven as President, Sue will be stepping down this fall.She has played ball for nineteen years and continues to play in the league and the ladies slo-pitch league.During these years Sue has volunteered for many league functions, as well as Softball Calgary bingos, casinos and City Championships.Sue is known and respected for her hard work, leadership abilities and dedication.Although her phone never stops ringing she continues to energize others by her love of the sport.Our sincere thanks, Sue for an outstanding job.
