Joined Gresham as an investment director in March 1999 from the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he was a director of acquisition finance.Over the previous 18 months, had been a member of an RBS team that completed 13 transactions.Had been at RBS since 1994, having joined from the corporate finance team at PricewaterhouseCoopers.Hammond had worked with Gresham on a number of deals and was described as ‘a very professional operator' by Marson Smith on joining Gresham.
