Mandy received her baccalaureate degree in nursing from Northwestern State University in 1988.She has over 10 years experience in Emergency Nursing.

She serves as Patient Care Coordinator for Home IV Therapy , Respiratory Therapy , Enteral Nutrition , and Durable Medical Equipment.

Mandy is a Shreveport native and resides there with her husband Kevin W. Hammond who is In-House Counsel for Patterson Insurance Company in Bossier City.
