Gabrielle HammondGabrielle is the Director of the Legal Services National Technology Assistance Project (NTAP).She is originally from Hawaii, and began her legal aid career in 1995 at the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii (LASH).At LASH, she worked on access to justice issues, created their statewide hotline and brief services unit, and implemented a full-scale volunteer program.She raised more than $2 million for projects at LASH and managed 22 attorneys and paralegals statewide.Prior to NTAP, Gabrielle acted as a management and hotline consultant for various legal aid programs across the country.She worked for a year as the Deputy Director of the National Immigration Law Center, focusing on programmatic and management systems to improve services to immigrants.Currently, Gabrielle manages and directs the NTAP project.With her heart in community organizing, she participates with others in building a national legal aid community of advocates that effectively fights injustice.Her published works include topics on limited English proficiency, hotline implementation, and delivery system innovations.
