MFT&E East Region Training Supervisor Frank Hammond provided on-site supervision and coordination.

Region 1 is covered by Frank Hammond and includes the counties of Aroostook, Kennebec, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Somerset, and Washington.As training program manager for Region 1, Frank is responsible for organizing and delivering firefighter training programs.Frank is directly responsible for supervising and coordinating delivery of local level training and state academies.

Region 2 is covered by Walter Morris and includes the counties of Androscoggin, Cumberland, Franklin, Knox, Lincoln, Oxford, Sagadahoc, Waldo, and York.

Walter and Frank Hammond will work with the Administrative Deputy whenever planning for events, training programs and projects.

Frank Hammond, the East Region Fire Training Programs Manager with Maine Fire Training and Education, is a 22-year veteran of the fire service.He is a certified Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor II and Emergency Medical Technician.He has a degree in fire science and is a Call Lieutenant with the Lincoln Fire Department.
