Laura Hamilton Joins UHY Advisors as Principal in Houston Office
HOUSTON, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 28, 2006 -- Laura Hamilton has joined UHY Advisors as a principal in the firm's fast-growing Forensic, Litigation and Valuation Services (FLVS) Group.She will be based in the Houston office, according to Jeff Harfenist, managing director of the FLVS Group in Houston.
UHY Advisors' FLVS Group is a national consulting practice that has been successfully working with law firms and in-house law departments for more than 25 years to deliver a comprehensive package of services for litigation consulting, fraud and forensic services, and business valuation.
Prior to joining UHY Advisors, Hamilton worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers for more than 10 years in the firm's Advisory Services Group, where she was based in Moscow, Russia, and later transferred to Houston.She previously worked for Aeroflot Russian International Airlines in Washington, D.C., and is fluent in the Russian language.Hamilton earned a bachelor of arts degree from Wesleyan University and an MBA from George Washington University.
