    Fraser Hamilton is a Senior Research Consultant at City University.Since joining three years ago, he developed a Television-based Virtual Human Interface, VISTA, for helping disabled and elderly viewers access TV guides.It won the Royal Television Society's Innovation in Engineering Award in 2003.

    Fraser was the project manager on the Disability Rights Commission's first Formal Investigation into website accessibility, which involved evaluating 1000 websites (39,000 web pages) and testing 100 sites with a panel of 50 disabled users.The findings will inform Government policy and set the agenda for the future of website development.He is currently involved in the Culture Online project.

    Prior to joining City University he was a consultant at Iconmedialab, an international web design agency and before that held lecturing and research posts in Human-Computer Interaction at Brighton and London University respectively.He has worked with clients including Motorola, Vodafone, Legal & General, Alliance & Leicester, The British Council and Mastercard.Fraser's work has been published in Continental Europe, North America, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom.He holds a BSc in Computer Science, an Advanced MSc in Human-Computer Interaction and is a member of the British Computer Society, the Association for Computing Machinery and the Usability Professional's Association.

    Fraser Hamilton is a co-founder and Director of Designed for All.     He holds a BSc(Hons) in Computer Science and an Advanced MSc in Human-Computer Interaction. He is a Chartered Member of the British Computer Society, a Professional Member of the Association for Computing Machinery and a member of the Usability Professionals Association.

    His work has been published in the UK, Continental Europe and the United States. In 2006 Fraser co-authored a paper on usability testing with his Designed for All colleagues for CHI 2006, the premier conference on Human-Computer Interaction. It was shortlisted for the conference's Best Paper Award.
