Bertie Hamilton retired from the Fairfax County Public School system after twenty-six years in Facility Services.During his 26 years with FCPS he was active on the Facilities Service Employee Advisory Council, Benefits Advisory Committee, Short-Term Disability Appeals Committee, and Support Employee Evaluation Committee.Bertie was co-founder of FCPS Support Services Trades Employees Association who later merged with FCSBEA.He served as President of FCPS Support Services Trades Employees Associations, as Vice-President of the FCSBEA Board of Directors and later as a member of the Board of Directors.Currently, he works for FCSBEA as an Employee Representative.
