While airline industry-analysis firm Boyd Group International Inc. predicts the nation's airlines will carry 6.6 percent fewer passengers this year than in 2008, ImagineAir President Ben Hamilton sees a prettier picture for his company.

Hamilton said one of the reasons ImagineAir can keep prices competitive is because of the efficiency of its aircraft.
"The airplane that we picked is modeled after the average business trip in the United States, which is one to three people going a couple hundred miles," he said.
