Critically acclaimed author Aaron Hamburger will visit BCC for Shabbat services on Friday, October 28 and again on Sunday, October 30.Hamburger's gay-themed second book, "Faith for Beginners," is described as "funny, erotic, searingly insightful, and profoundly moving," and critics are calling Aaron "a vibrant new voice in fiction."His first book, "The View From Stalin's Head," was a collection of ten short stories about Prague in the post-Cold War era.

BCC members and friends are invited to hear Hamburger at Friday night services on October 28, as well as at 4 pm at BCC on Sunday, October 30.Members are also encouraged to invite prospective new members to mingle with Hamburger and BCC's Board of Directors at a welcome reception from 2:30 to 4 pm.

The most prominent election issue was addressed succinctly when former board member Aaron Hamburger, one of the approximately 150 attenders at the forum, asked the panel to state directly what they would do if they had to power to accomplish one change.
