Rosemary Hallberg
The Southern Region Integrated Pest Management Center recently hired Rosemary Hallberg as the new Information and Communication Specialist.She will be leading the Center's communication activities and supporting regional efforts to promote IPM events and successes for all of the southern states.
Ms. Hallberg brings a combination of writing and environmental education experience to the Center.Her most recent position was as a Web content writer at North Carolina's statewide public television station, UNC-TV.

Ms. Hallberg will be re-establishing the news portion of the Web site as well as reinstating Southern Exposure, the Center's newsletter.In addition, she will be taking the lead on a strategic communications plan and tightening collaborations with the other regional IPM centers.
"One of my main priorities will be to create publications that are useful to those we work with," said Hallberg."I'm looking forward to getting the word out about how IPM is working in the southern states."
