Denver (September 13, 2000) - Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT ) has named A. Eugene "Gene" Hall as director of planning and scheduling, effective immediately.Hall brings 28 years of airline planning and management experience to his new position and most recently served as director, scheduling and route planning for Ft. Worth, Texas-based American Eagle Airlines, where he oversaw schedule and route planning for a fleet of 275 aircraft.In his new position, Hall will oversee the airline's planning and scheduling department, including preparation for the airlines' transition to an Airbus fleet.He will report to Vice President of Market Planning and Revenue Management Sean Menke.

Prior to American Eagle, Hall served as vice president, marketing and planning and director, field services for Nashville Eagle Airlines and vice president, corporate planning and development for Wings West Airlines.Hall was with the former Frontier Airlines from 1972 through 1982 and also served in various capacities with Denver-based Air US, New Haven, Conn.-based New Air, Naples and Florida-based PBA.He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, majoring in Business Administration.Hall and his wife Charlene have five children and one grandchild.They currently live in Grapevine, Texas and will relocate to Denver.
