FARMINGTON - Shelly Ann Haines, 34, passed to a better place on Feb. 17, at Franklin Memorial Hospital after a long courageous battle with liver disease.Her loving family was by her side.

She was born May 1, 1968, in Farmington.She was the daughter of Reginald and Carol Haines.She received her education in Phillips elementary school, moving to Farmington her eighth grade year.She graduated with honors from Mt. Blue High School.

When she became ill she was in her last year of college at the University of Maine at Augusta majoring in criminal justice.She loved helping people and living life to the fullest.She loved doing crafts, and going on trips, and being with family and friends.She loved going to Zachary's sporting events watching him play ball and was always volunteering her time and services supplying gum for the boys or orange slices.Selling raffle tickets was important to her.

She is survived and will be sadly missed by her loving son who was the center of her life, Zachary Ryan Haines; her mother, Carol Ann Hutchinson Haines; her brothers, Reginald David Haines Jr., and his companion Andrea Wing of Industry, and Timothy Haines and his companion Jen Reckards of New Sharon; half-brother, Mr. and Mrs. Jason Haines of Phillips, Dyan Nile of Salem; half-sister, Amanda Millbury and her companion Andy Libby of Rangeley; her loving nieces and nephews who always brightened her days, Lindsey and Emma Haines of New Sharon, Icie and Lucas Haines of Industry, Brittney Mitchell of New Vineyard, Tarek Haines, Kirsten Bailey of Phillips, and Dallas Libby of Rangeley; her maternal grandmother, Mary Hutchinson of Farmington; her aunts and uncles, Mr.and Mrs. John Hutchinson of Turner, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hutchinson of Temple, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Adams of West Paris, Mr.and Mrs. Carl Hutchinson of Farmington, Priscilla White of Farmington, Holly Starbird of Wilton, Mr. and Mrs
