  Two celebrations have been planned honoring Lawrence Hahn, the outgoing executive director of the Boys and Girls Club of Oak Ridge.
  
  After 51 years at the helm, Hahn announced earlier that he would be stepping down at the end of August.
  
  The board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Oak Ridge quickly started planning celebrations for Hahn, who has touched many in Oak Ridge with his dedication and service to area youth.
  
  "I don't think you would have to look very far in schools or the community to find impacts Mr. Hahn and the club has had over the years," said Will Robinson with the board.

  After a dedicated career spanning 55 years, Lawrence Hahn is retiring as executive director of the Oak Ridge Boys and Girls Club.

  In December of 1957 Lawrence Hahn signed the charter to begin the Boys Club of Oak Ridge. A few months later, the doors opened ... and the rest is history.
  
  Fifty-one years later, Hahn is stepping down after a brilliant career of helping guide the lives of numerous young men and women in Oak Ridge.
