LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 23, 2005--The Los Angeles law firm of Bird, Marella, Boxer, Wolpert, Nessim, Drooks & Lincenberg, which focuses on complex criminal and civil litigation, announced today that Sharon Ben-Shahar and J. Scott Hacker have joined the growing firm.

Hacker, 38, is a Certified Public Accountant and was a federal prosecutor in the United States Attorney's Office, Southern District of Texas, Laredo Division where he handled over 500 federal felony criminal cases.Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney's Office, Hacker was an Assistant District Attorney in the Bexar County District Attorney's Office.He also served as a clerk for U.S. District Judge George P. Kazen and was an intern for Texas Supreme Court Justice Craig T. Enoch.Hacker joins Bird Marella as associate attorney and will specialize in various accounting issues in both civil and criminal litigation.
