HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (December 18, 2007)- Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. (TBE) today inducted Jerry C. Edwards and Gerard K. (Gerry) Hacker into its Engineering Fellows Program during a ceremony at its headquarters.

Gerry Hacker has worked as the Deputy Program Manager for the Propellants, Pressurants, and Calibration (PP&C) Contract at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) for more than 26 years.
He has been responsible for obtaining superior ratings as well as identifying and repairing numerous flaws in high-pressure vessels and piping systems that had the potential to fail and cause loss of lives or resources.
He has managed the MSFC Pressure Systems Certification Program since 1981.
Gerry was also instrumental in obtaining and maintaining TBE's R-Stamp Certificate of Authorization from the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors that authorizes TBE to repair and/or alter vessels.
He played a major role in TBE's ASME certification.
Gerry is recognized internationally as one of only a few to have been certified in 22 different Level III areas of nondestructive testing certifications from the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT).
Edwards and Hacker were presented with a Fellows pin and plaque.
