Rev. Milton Guttierrez, pastor of First UMC Allen, will serve Dallas South District; Rev. Keith Payne Boone, pastor of First UMC, Rockwall, will serve Paris-Sulphur Springs District; and Rev. Pat Beghtel-Mahle, presently serving Paris-Sulphur Springs, will serve Dallas Northeast District.

Rev. GuttierrezRev. Milton Guttierrez is a native of New Orleans, LA, who holds the Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA, and the Master of Divinity from Emory University, Candler School of Theology.He was ordained deacon and elder in the Louisiana Conference before transferring to the NTC in 1973.
Rev. Guttierrez has served the following NTC churches: University Park Dallas, associate and youth minister, 1972-76; Oak Park UMC, Paris, 1976-81; Salem-Kinser, Greenville, 1981- 83; Glen Oaks, Dallas, 1983-87; Oak Lawn, Dallas, 1987-95; and First UMC, Allen, 1995-2006.
He is married to Kathy Janes Guttierrez, who is a church musician.They are parents of two adult children, Milton Peter Guttierrez, born in 1968, and Donella DiPasquale, born in 1973, and are grandparents of four, all of whom live in the Dallas area.

Rev. Guttierrez has served the NTC in a wide variety of responsibilities, including youth camp leadership, writing curriculum for the UMC Graded Press, serving as registrar for the NTC Board of Ordained Ministry; chairing the NTC Division of Worship; chairing the Dallas Northeast Committee on Ordained Ministry; and teaching local pastor extension courses.
He has been on Volunteer in Mission trips to Israel in 1991 and Cameroon in 2005.In his leisure time, Rev. Guttierrez enjoys racquetball, fishing, travel, films and Cajun cooking.
